Our Romania VPS Node I (including the controlpanel) has been shutdown by DIICOT ( Romanian police department specialized with IT illegalities).
There have been a rogatory commission request made by the German police to romanian police and they asked for theHDDs. They just came with a court order and picked them up.
We assume that this was caused by a Nazi website which was hosted on this servers a few months ago and maybe there is something more important connected to it than we know.
We are working on it to restore the Node an manement system. To prevent this downtime on further actions we are working on a special backupsystem to restore backups within minutes.
Every customer who is affected has to open a support ticket to get an new VPS. Because we are short of server in romania we will also offer Iceland VPS.
More security and better VT technologie:
All further nodes will be running with full system encryption and vmware based vt technologie.
Location romania will be secure?
Yes this location is still secure but as we provided many times:
Please provide us details about your content because not every location can host every content!
if you have further questions do not hesitate to contact us
Update 1 :
Today we get the details from romanian police and CERT-RO Team. Their request was based on another German police as a result of hacking activities initiated from a VPS customer.
