„The Electronic Frontier Foundation project „panopticlick“ has shown that it is possible to create a unique fingerprint of a browser. Using this information, it might be possible to track a user while surfing the Internet. In a research project together with the Technical High School of Rapperswil we developed a proof of concept intrastructure that consists of a Facebook-App combined with a browser fingerprinting web site. In this talk I will demonstrate the possibility to identify users in a web application before the user authenticated himself.“
